AmazingPorts was founded in 2001 to address core issues in information security and roaming while building and designing large pervasive networks. The flavor of the day in 2001 was WiFi, but today our technology is applicable in any type of data network, call it WiFi, WiMax, Ethernet or GSM/UMTS.

In order to enable seamless and secure roaming between locations without the use of restrictive, static profiles, we took a rules based approach to enable a service based approch to provisioning wihtout getting caught in the entanglements of massive administration. Our holistic approach to computer network service provisioning opened up a myriad of new possibilities. And over the last few years our test drivers of hotspots have concluded that we constantly attract more paying users than any other ordinary hotspot solution.

We have helped many different kinds of network owners gain control over their networks. The simplicity of deployment and management means that anything from enthusiast home users to banks have deployed our technology. Service levels and agreements obviously differ but the core requirement is the same - full control - easy to administrate.
